City launches ‘Greener Denver’ program to promote business energy efficiency

Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and the Office of Economic Development will present details of a new initiative "Greener Denver" to help local businesses improve their energy efficiency. It also will offer training resources to help Denver businesses develop a “green” workforce and capitalize on renewable-energy development.

Denver is one of eight cities taking part in the “Climate Prosperity Project,” a program launched by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and coordinated by Global Urban Development.
